About me
- I started out in 1995 as a health care assistant for a large company and for a local care home. I have always been fascinated by the human body and realised quickly that one of the secrets to a longer and better quality of life was to have a healthy blood circulation. I would frequently notice that the elderly patients I visited would sit every day for hours on end resulting in cold hands, feet, tiredness and general low mood and energy.
- Keen to learn I took a diploma in Reflexology and Anatomy in Physiology, followed by training as a hairdresser and obtaining a Beauty Specialist qualification to encompass the complete package. I worked in various salons to gain practical experience and then encouraged by my college lecturer I decided to teach others what I had learnt. I was a beauty and reflexology tutor in a Further Education college for a period of over 5 years and gained invaluable experience during that time whilst also raising my then young family.
- I now have over 20 years experience in reflexology and have over the years continued to professionally develop by undertaking various other courses including indian head massage and advanced techniques in hand reflexology. In 2008 I decided to study law however I have always continued to practice reflexology on family and friends as it is a therapy I strongly advocate for a better quality of life . I am a member of the Federation of Holistic therapists and I now practice as a mobile therapist offering reflexology in the Powys and Shropshire area of the UK.
